New Roots is a service commissioned by Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) to provide supported accommodation to vulnerable young people who have no safe place to live. We welcome referrals from all sectors of our community.
Young people are eligible for our services if they are between the age of 16 – 21, or 16-19 for young parents. In exceptional circumstances we will support young people up to the age of 25. Referrals for young people under the age of 18 are seen as a priority, along with looked after children, care leavers and those at risk of harm.
All our referrals come to us via Family Services at NCC, after the completion of an A1 Assessment form (not to be confused with A1 housing). We can support any young person or professional who may be working with them to complete this form.
